This item is handmade by me in my Sussex workshop, using the traditional copper foil technique, including lead solder which makes it a high quality product and it will last a lifetime....unless you drop it! The glass I use in my products is usually 2mm or 3mm thick depending on the project.
Lead solder may mark lighter surfaces.

I use skip bound, skip found, seconds or old float glass for my recycled glass pieces. You may find small flaws such as scratches or scuffs when a piece is made from recycled glass.
These particular pieces are currently being made from an old greenhouse. Its good to upcycle and give a gift made from recycled materials.
