Glass workshops
In my workshops you will learn how to create your own beautiful copper foil glass creation using traditional techniques including cutting glass, foiling and soldering.
I have a good selection of workshops to choose from for all abilities and creative experience. I recommend attending one of my shorter workshops before you tackle a terrarium or stained glass workshop, just so you have some practice of the techniques behind you. I will help you through each stage of the making progress whatever you want to create.
Spend a few hours treating yourself to a new learning experience at my cosy little workshop at Upper Stoneham Farm, Lewes East Sussex. There is room for up to 4 students in my workshop, so bring your friends or make some new ones!
Hot and cold drinks provided, with a biscuit or two. Please bring your own lunch to the 6 hour workshops. There is a kitchen onsite with microwave, kettle and fridge.
I provide aprons and gloves but due to the nature of glasswork, I advise you don’t wear your best clothes but please wear long sleeves! Open sandals may not be worn to the workshops.
As there is lead content in the solder, the workshops are unsuitable for pregnant or nursing mothers.
There is free parking onsite and public transport stops right outside the farm in both directions via the 29 bus from Brighton & Hove buses
